Inaugural 3Ptag Schools Challenge – Where School Spirit Comes Alive
3Ptag is bringing something special to the field in 2026. The very first Schools Challenge, created to celebrate school pride, connection, and the power of coming together through sport.
For two high-energy days, schools will take over the grounds with colour, noise, and passion.
📅 April 1 & 2, 2026 (Term 1, Week 10 – Wednesday & Thursday)
📍 Bill Norris Reserve
Expect big plays, loud sidelines, school chants and moments students will talk about long after the term ends.
Who’s Competing
Boys and Girls teams will hit the field across:
- Year 5/6
- Year 7/8
- Year 9/10
- Year 11/12
Similar to our All Nations tournaments, individual and team excellence will be recognised throughout the event. Tournament MVPs and Finals MVPs will be awarded, alongside two major honours, Performance School of the Year and Championship School of the Year. Celebrating both overall success and consistent excellence across the tournament.
Day 2 will also feature the return of the infamous 1v1 Challenge, bringing intensity and excitement to centre stage. In addition, the Schools Challenge will debut our Relay Races, replacing the traditional sprint race. This format gives schools an even greater opportunity to demonstrate teamwork, unity and school spirit as they compete together.
We are incredibly excited for what promises to be a fierce, high-energy tournament, one that not only showcases competitive excellence but truly celebrates schools and the communities behind them.
