3Ptag Sells Out in Just 3 Minutes – Twice in One Week

The momentum behind 3Ptag continues to reach new heights, with both our Queensland Junior and Queensland Mod tournaments selling out in an incredible 3 minutes.

Last Sunday, registrations opened for our QLD Junior All Nations, and within just 3 minutes, we reached tournament capacity. 300 teams registered almost instantly. To accommodate the overwhelming demand, and rebalance divisions,  we worked quickly to fill the necessary competitions ultimately expanding the tournament to 348 teams.

If we thought that was impressive, today proved it wasn't a one-off.

Registrations for our NSW Junior All Nations opened and once again sold out in just 3 minutes. Even before final adjustments have been made, we've already reached 262 teams, with divisions still being balanced and additional teams currently being finalised.

These numbers represent more than just registrations, they reflect the continued growth of our community and the trust that thousands of players, families & coaches place in 3Ptag.

When we started 3Ptag, our goal was simple: create an experience that athletes couldn't wait to be part of. Seeing tournaments fill within minutes is a testament to the culture, competition and community that has been built together over the past six years.

To everyone who registered, thank you once again for your incredible support. We're already planning ahead for 2027 and are committed to splitting our tournaments across multiple weekends to create more opportunities for teams to participate. Unfortunately, due to the 2026 international sporting calendar including the Rugby League World Cup, Pan Pacific Games (QLD) on top of local sporting competitions we simply didn't have the flexibility to do so this year.

With tournaments of this scale, venue availability becomes one of our biggest challenges. We also have to consider field capacity, scheduling, accommodation, and importantly, future-proofing our events against wet weather. While we would love to continue expanding without limits, ensuring we deliver a high-quality experience for every team will always remain our priority.

We know missing out is disappointing, and that's exactly why we're already working on solutions to increase capacity in the future while maintaining the standard that has made 3Ptag what it is today.
